On the sports scene we have the classic and exciting Moto GP and the World Adventure Race Championships. Moto GP features the top 30 drivers from the world rankings and this event offers all the skills of the motorcycling stars from the 125cc and 250cc. A total of 67 teams from 27 countries will participate in the World Adventure Race Championships.
These top athletes will compete along an 800km “non stop” and experience the secret course of the Estoril Portugal XPD Race 2009.
Promoting the best in film making both technically and creatively, the Estoril Film Festival crosses frontiers and mixes the three facets of cinema – art, entertainment and industry – through the work of the leading contemporary directors. Some of those participating include Bernardo Bertolucci, J.M. Coetzee, Catherine Deneuve, Stephen Frears, Isabelle Huppert, Emanuel Ungaro, Louis Garrel, Michael Pitt, Paul Auster and Cristina Iglesias. Cidadela de Cascais is the stage for the next Moda Lisboa|Estoril 2010.
Inspired by the theme Fashion Force’33, top models will parade the fashion that mirrors the entrepreneurship and creativity of Portuguese fashion designers. The Estoril Coast is without doubt a unique destination of unrivalled experiences.
